Alexis Ortega is an award-winning Philadelphia bartender with more than 20 years of hospitality experience. Working at Static and Vetri Cucina, he brings experience from two distinct on-premise environments: an energetic neighbourhood cocktail bar and an acclaimed fine-dining restaurant.

Alexis was crowned World Class U.S. Bartender of the Year, becoming the first bartender from Philadelphia to earn the national title. He has also represented the United States in leading international cocktail competitions and is recognised for combining technical precision, creative storytelling and genuine hospitality.

His approach to drinks balances elevated craft with accessibility, ensuring cocktails remain engaging, enjoyable and relevant to the guest. Alexis brings extensive knowledge of spirits, mixability, service and real-world bar execution to the Bartender Spirits Awards judging panel.
